Make a Difference TOday.

Jordan Lake Rowing Club worked hard in 2024 to change our short and long term financial future. Pandemic was very hard on small nonprofits like ours. For JLRC, our revenue was cut by more than 50%, while our costs skyrocketed (our Clubhouse rent alone is up 50%). Our boats and equipment have aged and we need to replace pieces to serve our athletes. We are lucky to have an amazing coaching staff, an incredible Executive Director, and a dedicated Board of Directors. Our team is committed to having a welcoming and inclusive community of rowers at Jordan Lake to serve our area youth.

Our team ran a successful Erg-A-Thon in April 2024 where they collected donations based on the meters they can row on an erg (an indoor rowing machine) in a specific time-trial. You can still contribute here!

Our teammates rolled up their sleeves to paint their clubhouse, learned basic boat and erg maintenance, and took care of our community resources. For years, we have volunteered multiple times a year to clean up Jordan Lake, and we are proud of how we serve our community!  Our youth are actively involved in ensuring JLRC exists for the youth coming after them, and we appreciate your partnership with them in sustaining us for the future.
